DevTeam released the untethered jailbreak for the latest iOS 4.3.2 - RedSn0w 0.9.6 rc14.

The 4.3.2 untether works on all Apple devices that support 4.3.2 except for the iPad2:

• iPhone 3GS
• iPhone 4 (GSM)
• iPod Touch 3G
• iPod Touch 4G
• iPad 1

Redsnow is easy to use, it is available for Windows and Mac OS. As usual for unlockers - do not updaate to 4.3.1, wait for PwnageTool and Sn0wBreeze.

Apple has released iOS 4.3.2 for the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.

This update contains improvements and other bug fixes including:

• Fixes an issue that occasionally caused blank or frozen video during a FaceTime call
• Fixes an issue that prvented some international users from connecting to 3G networks on iPad W-Fi + 3G
• Contains the latest security updates

Products compatible with this software update:

• iPad 2

• iPod touch (3rd generation)

Apple has also updated the firmware for the Verizon iPhone to 4.2.7 although this wasn't listed in the release notes.

Hacker I0nic has given his untether exploit for the iOS 4.3.1 jailbreak to the iPhone Dev-Team. They will perform testing and integrate it into their jailbreak utilities - redsn0w and pwnagetool. This untethered jailbreak will probably work for iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPod Touch 3G, iPod Touch 4G and iPad.

The iphone-dev-team is already beta-testing the untether. So it is up to them to give you your tool of choice.

Please don't bother the dev-team now. The deal is: if the beta test is successfull, they are free to do whatever they want with it.

I0nic recently demonstrated his jailbreak on iPod Touch 4G. I hope to get iOS 4.3.1 jailbreak soon.

Tethered means that every reboot you will have to connect device to a computer and boot it using special utility (iBooty). Sn0wBreeze 2.4 beta 1 provides untethered jailbreak for iPhone 3GS old bootrom.

Sn0wbreeze also preserves your baseband, which is very useful for unlockers. Using Sn0wbreeze you can update firmware iOS 4.3.1, while preserve old unlockable baseband. It also works with iPhone 3GS with 06.15 baseband.

It is still beta, so there might be bugs so use at your own risk.

Comex, famous iPhone hacker, tweeted today that the kernel exploit for jailbreak he had found long ago was closed by Apple in recent iOS 4.3.1. This exploit could be used to jailbreak iPad 2.

As noticed by @0naj, my kernel exploit was fixed in 4.3.1.

I try not to be paranoid, but it is really hard to explain this as anything but a leak.

The funny thing is that my "new" kernel exploit is actually the kernel exploit used by JailbreakMe 2.0. It was never properly fixed.

It stayed there from 4.0.2 through 4.3, but was magically found in time for 4.3.1. well, go go @MuscleNerd and @i0n1c I guess

This is not good news. However we have recently seen working untethered jailbreak video. There are other vulnerabilities in iOS 4.3.1.

Apple has released another TV ad as part of their latest "If you don’t have an iPhone" campaign. The new ad showcases the high-resolution Retina Display that can be found on iPhone 4 and iPod Touch 4G.

Apple opened its virtual doors around 1AM this morning and now the iPad 2 is available for order on the US Apple Online Store. There is a choice out of 18 models - WiFi, GSM or CDMA; Black or White; 16, 32 or 64GB. All 18 models are available for order and they all ship in 3-5 business days. UPDATE: most of the models are now ships within 2-3 weeks.

Apple’s iPad 2 Smart Cover is available as well, shipping in 1-2 business days. Smart Cover is available either leather ($69) or Polyurethane ($39) option with 5 colors per material. As we were told during iPad 2 presentation - Apple is also selling an HDMI cable ($39) for the iPad 2.

Those who do not want to order their iPad 2 online can purchase one at an Apple retail, AT&T, Target, Verizon, Best Buy, Walmart, or Sam’s Club store starting March 11th at 5 PM local time.

Apple just released new iOS 4.3 firmware. Jailbreakers and unlockers should wait for new tools. Everybody else will benefit. iOS 4.3 has Safari speed improvements, AirPlay features, hotspot, Home sharing, a new option for customizing the iPad's side switch to serve as a mute toggle or screen orientation lock and much more:

UPDate: Attention! We've received info, that Apple stopped signing iOS 4.2 for devices for which iOS 4.3 is available. This means you will not be able to restore to 4.2.1 without saved SHSH keys.

Using this tutorial you will be able to jailbreak iOS 4.2.1 running on iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4, iPod Touch 3G, iPod Touch 4G and iPad. Pwnagetool will also preserve baseband version if you need carrier unlock. If you have updated the baseband to version 06.15, you can use this tutorial. This tutorial uses  PwnageTool 4.2 for Mac OS X.

We are not developers of jailbreak utilities, so we cannot assure that everything will work just fine. However we tried this tutorial on several devices and succeeded.

MIC Gadget got some hands-on time with rumored 64GB iPhone. They've obtained it from the grey market in Hong Kong.

Perhaps most interesting is that we’ve been hearing that Apple does limited runs of these things (and had done them in the past as well) but the guy who got them from Foxconn said:

According to the owner, he believes that the next iPhone will bring 64GB storage capacity to users.
