iOS 8 Adoption Rate Reaches 69% in Mid-January - Apple
According to the latest data that can be found on Apple's support page for developers, iOS 8 adoption rate has once again improved. Although this improvement is not as substantial as the previous one, it shows that more and more people switch to the latest version of Apple's mobile operating system. Some of them purchase smartphones and tablets with iOS 8 pre-installed, but most of the users simply upgrade to a newer version of iOS.

Apple Gets Patent for Eye-Tracking Technology

This technology will reportedly be used in the next generations of Apple's iPhones, iPads, Macs and even Apple TVs. The technology described in the document is unique as it allows users not to lose control of a cursor while working with a device. That is the key point of Apple's most recent patent.

Apple Released 'Apple Watch' in 1995? [Video]
You probably think that the upcoming Apple Watch will become the first wearable device the guys from Cupertino have ever created. And what if I tell you that you are wrong?
As it turns out, back in 1995, two years before Steve Jobs came back to his company, Apple released a beautiful wrist-worn watch made of anodized aluminum with incredible design, colorful logo, scratch-resistant glass and "Mac OS" inscription on the band. Of course, it was just a watch; it couldn't boast of Bluetooth or Wi-Fi (it was 1995). However, the "Apple Watch" was very good-looking.
Chinese Thieves Steal 240 iPhones 6 from Beijing Warehouse
Back in December, three thieves stole 240 iPhone 6 units from a warehouse in China. I must admit, they did this in a rather unusual way. According to what Xinhua News Agency reporters write, three men dug a 20-inch hole beneath the wall of the warehouse in Beijing and took 240 iPhone 6 units with total value of about $230.000 (1.4 million yuan). Although this extraordinary event took place between December 12th ad 13th, Chinese press announced it publicly only today.

Apple to Release Stylus Alongside iPad Pro Launch This Year
According to the new report released by KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the guys from Cupertino are planning to equip their long-anticipated 12.9-inch iPad Pro with an optional stylus. Since the larger tablet will reportedly be targeted at enterprise customers, who use similar devices primarily for work, the addition of such a tool looks quite logical. Painters, designers and all those creative personalities that might need the larger iPad will also find a stylus very useful, I guess.
Young Designer Creates iOS 9 Concept [Video]
As you probably know, Apple is currently working on several iOS versions, namely, iOS 8.1.3, iOS 8.2, iOS 8.3 and iOS 9. While the first three versions are very unlikely to feature something really worth your attention (apart from the support of Apple Watch, of course), the latter one is expected to bring a wide number of new features to Apple’s iPhones and iPads. Its release may take place in September alongside the release of the new iPhone or iPhones.

Intel CEO Says Relationship with Apple Is Strong
Earlier this week I wrote an article about the relationship between Apple and Intel and about Apple’s plans to build its own A10X processor for the next-generation Mac as soon as in 2016. Although the rumor about a switch to own custom-build processors was shared by KGI analysts, looks like it was just a prediction. A couple of days ago, in an interview to CNBC Intel CEO Brian Krzanich said that the business relations between the tech giant from Cupertino and the largest chip manufacturer in the world remain strong and promising.
