Apple has just begun releasing selected third-party Apple Watch apps on the App Store. These apps include Twitter, Evernote, Things, Target, Dark Sky, The Wall Street Journal and many other applications from non-Apple developers. While the wearable device is expected to hit the store shelves only on April 24th, customers will get an exclusive opportunity to take a look at the smartwatch and try it on at the local Apple Stores starting from April 10th. They will also get a chance to pre-order the tiny gadget. However, to decide whether they actually need the Apple Watch, people should be able to look at different apps created for it.
Apart from Siri’s ability to make calls using iPhone’s speakerphone added to the latest iOS 8.3 beta, one beta-tester has recently noticed one more feature included to the latest version of Apple’s mobile operating system. This feature is a new Setting tab called Password Settings. The guys from Cupertino have recently released an update to their iPhoto app for Mac. This update is aimed at making it easier for OS X users to transfer their photo libraries to the new Photos app, which will become available for public later this year.

According to the latest reports from reliable sources, the guys from Cupertino have recently invited several third-party app developers to Apple headquarters to allow them to test their Apple Watch apps ahead of the launch of the wearable device in April. Some insiders claim that Apple is planning to help nearly 100 developers finalize their products in February, however, this information hasn’t yet been confirmed officially. Most of the developers invited to Cupertino are those who create sports and productivity applications.
Apple on Monday seeded the fifth beta of iOS 8.2 to developers for testing. The release took place about three weeks after the release of the fourth beta and nearly three months after the release of the very first testing version of iOS 8.2. This beta also includes WatchKit SDK, which allows to create apps and notifications for the long-anticipated Apple Watch and Xcode 6.2 beta 5.
