Samsung Releases New Ad, Says Apple Copied Its Devices
Samsung has recently posted a new ad mocking the recently released iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus. In the short video, which is available below, Samsung claims the guys from Cupertino copied the large displays of South-Korean smartphones and their overall design. Aside from mocking Apple's handsets, the ad shows us the next-generation Galaxy Note. I must admit that both smartphones, the iPhone 6 and the Galaxy Note 4, look very similar in terms of size and shape.
Apple Is Working on New 12-inch MacBook Air in Multiple Colors - Rumor
According to the latest report from atechwebsite, the guys from Cupertino are currently working on a new version of MacBook Air. The next-generation laptop is expected to feature a 12-inch display and come in Space Gray, Gold, and Silver colors. These rumors haven't yet been confirmed by Apple representatives, however, earlier this year a report surfaced online that suggested that Apple was indeed working on a new laptop with larger screen.

Apple Has Officially Unveiled the 'Apple Watch'

Apple Granted Patent for Method of Hardening Sapphire Screens
Apple on Thursday was granted a patent for a technology of hardening the sapphire structure. The patent application was published on the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office official website. The patent is entitled "Sapphire property modification through ion implantation" and it describes a method of adding ions in a sapphire structure so that it becomes stronger and prevents this material from cracking. The advantage of the new technology is that it allows to make the sapphire stronger without using the chemicals.
Apple's Suppliers Are Ramping up Production of Components for iPad Air 2
According to the latest report from DigiTimes, Apple's suppliers are currently ramping up the production of components for the next-generation 9.7-inch iPad Air that is expected to be officially unveiled this fall alongside the Retina iPad mini. The new tablet will boast of faster A8 processor, improved Touch ID fingerprint sensor and some other hardware and software enhancements. What is interesting about the leaked part is that it can boast of the capacity nearly two times larger than that of the battery of the iPhone 5s. For those, who don't know: the battery capacity of the iPhone 5s is 1.560 mAh, while the same specification of the next-gen iPhone 6 with 5.5-inch screen is 2.915 mAh.
