Siri Now Can Make Calls Using Speakerphone





With the release of iOS 8.3 beta, the guys from Cupertino have slightly improved the functionality of the build-in voice assistant. According to what reliable sources write, Siri now can make calls via speakerphone every time user asks for that using the “Hey Siri” command. Strangely enough, such a simple feature was missing in iOS 8 - 8.2. It’s good Apple discovered this and found a solution to the problem.

Apple to Launch Trade-in Program for Android and BlackBerry Users



According to the latest rumors, Apple is currently planning a new campaign to lure Android switchers. The guys from Cupertino will soon launch a new trade-in program that will allow Android and BlackBerry users to change their old devices for a gift card, which will let them get a discount when purchasing an iPhone. The trade-in value of old handsets will be determined by Apple Store employees. Everything is simple here: the better your smartphone works and feels, the more you get.

Today, reliable insiders claim that they have found something like a secret research lab, where the work on the project is carried out. This means that the pre-release version of iOS 8.3 is now available for all those users, who have registered as members of the public testing program. Apple Releases Third iOS 8.3 Beta to Developers for Testing



The guys from Cupertino on Thursday seeded the third iOS 8.3 beta to developers for testing. The release came about two weeks after the release of the second iOS 8.3 beta, which could boast of new emoji picker, better CarPlay connectivity, the support of Google’s two step verification, new Siri languages and a number of other performance and stability improvements. New beta became available for Apple’s developers just several days after the public release of iOS 8.2, which could bo the official release of iOS 8.2 that featured the support of the Apple Watch.

Apple to Release iOS 8.2 Next Week - BGR



As you probably know, last week, a research firm BGR released a report suggesting that Apple’s iOS 8.2 will be released to users worldwide this week. Next-Generation iPhones to Feature 2GB of RAM and Apple SIM



According to the latest reports from people familiar with the matter, Apple’s next-gen iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus may both get Apple SIM and 2GB of RAM. Both features come from the iPad Air 2, which was released last year. Google to Announce Apple Pay Competitor in May?



According to the latest report from the Wall Street Journal, Google is currently planning to revamp its Google Wallet service in order to compete with the recently-released NFC-based payments system called Apple Pay. The new Wallet will be officially announced this May, at the annual Google I/O developer conference, reporters claim. While this rumor hasn’t yet been confirmed, such a step is quite possible as the only way to compete with Apple’s payments service is to make Google’s own service better.
