Apple Watch to Hit Store Shelves Between April 6th and April 10th - Rumor





As you probably know, earlier this year Apple CEO Tim Cook said that the long-anticipated Apple Watch will hit the store shelves in April. Up to this day, this was the only more or less exact timing.

Today, however, a new rumor appeared on the Internet, which suggests that the wearable device may hit the store shelves between April 6th and April 10th. The guys from Cupertino are expected to begin shipping the smartwatches to distribution points across the United States of America in the very first days of the month, so the official release may take place in the first full week of April.

Apple Invites Reporters to Visit 'Spring Forward' Event on March 9



Apple has begun sending invitation to a new media event, which will take place on Monday, March 9th, at the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco. It is currently unclear what device the guys from Cupertino will unveil. Many things point to the announcement of the Apple Watch, however, Apple remains silent and gives no comments on the issue. The company may announce the long-anticipated 12-inch MacBook Air or slightly refreshed 11-inch and 13-inch MacBook Airs as well. All we know for sure is that the event highlighted “Spring Forward” will start at 10 a.m. Pacific Time and that Apple will offer a live stream of the media event.

Every year, ahead of launches of new products from Apple, Samsung and other tech giants, dozens, hundreds and even thousands of renderings, mockups and concepts appear on the Internet, which allegedly show how this or that device may look like. While Apple or any other company simply ignores all this stuff, its South Korean rival takes most ridiculous, absurd and weird images and uses them to promote its next-generation flagship.

Tim Cook Reveals New Details about Apple Watch



According to what Tim Cook told local Apple employees during his latest visit to Berlin, Germany, the long-anticipated Apple Watch will be water resistant. Looks like the guys from Cupertino modified the original smartwatch model. You see, back in September, it was reported that it was impossible to take shower with the device on one’s wrist without damaging it.

iOS and Android Account for 96.3% Smartphone Market Share in Q4 2014



According to the latest report from a research firm called IDC, the combined smartphone market share of iOS and Android accounted for 96.3% in the fourth quarter. Apple’s share managed to reach 19.7% and the share of Android equalled to 76.6%. Just for you to compare: n the last quarter of 2013, Apple’s iOS grabbed 17.5% of the smartphone market and Google’s Android occupied 78.2%. As we see, iOS products become more and more popular, making users change their Android devices to iPhones. The guys from Cupertino managed to sell as many as 74.5 million iPhone units in the fourth quarter. The shipments of all Android smartphones combined accounted for 289.1 million units.

New iPhone 6C Concept Created by 3DFuture [Images]



Almost every week, a new rumor about Apple’s next-generation iPhone appears on the Internet. Some insiders believe this will be a smartphone very similar to the existing iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus. There are also such people, who don’t wait till Apple announces a new smartphone. They just imagine, how the new handset may look like and create their own concepts.

Below you may take a look at the new concept of the device called the “iPhone 6c”, which features a colorful plastic back panel reminiscent of the one Apple’s iPhone 5c had. The concept was created by 3DFuture and I must admit it looks impressive.

Apple to Release First iOS Public Beta in March - Rumors



According to the latest reports released by people familiar with the matter, Apple is currently thinking about launching a public beta program for iOS. In such a way, the guys from Cupertino hope to fix more bugs and make their mobile operating system more stable and efficient. As to the first iOS version, which will become available for public testing, this will be iOS 8.3. First users will be invited to try the new iOS as soon as in mid-March, sources claim. Moreover, the same sources claim that Apple’s iOS 9, which is expected to be announced at Worldwide Developer Conference, will also be available as a public beta.

Apple Plans to Release Its Car in 2020 - Rumor



According to what reliable insiders write, Apple is currently planning to release its first-ever car in 2020. This may be a fully-electric vehicle with self-driving option. The guys from Cupertino have set a very ambitious aim as normally car manufacturers work for about 5 to 7 years on each new model. Samsung to Acquire LoopPay Soon - Official



According to reliable insiders, Apple’s South Korean rival Samsung has recently announced its plans to purchase LoopPay, a firm behind the technology, which may become a rival of Apple Pay payments service. Back in December, it was reported that two firms had been in talks over a partnership. Well, the talks turned out to be successful and LoopPay will soon become a part of the South Korean tech giant, responsible for the development of secure mobile payments system.

Gold Apple Watch to Bring Most of Revenue to Apple - Report



As you probably know, the guys from Cupertino are expected to release their long-anticipated Apple Watch in April. There will be several different versions of the wearable device, namely, Apple Watch, Apple Watch Sport and Apple Watch Edition. Each model will boast of several health-tracking sensors and its own unique design. According to a new rumor, which has been recently shared by the Taiwanese insiders, the guys from Cupertino may soon add the Touch ID fingerprint sensor to a number of next-generation devices, namely, the MacBook Air, MacBook Pro, Magic Mouse and Magic Trackpad. While such a rumor hasn’t yet been confirmed by reliable analysts or Apple suppliers, the addition of a fingerprint sensor may allow users to keep their data secured on every device they utilize. Photos Showing Third-Party iPad Pro Case Appear Online



A couple of images showing something very similar to the new third-party case for the long-anticipated 12-inch iPad Pro have been recently spotted online. While it is currently impossible to check the legitimacy of these photos, they show us an accessory, which is really similar to the one for the iPad Air. The case has nearly the same cutouts for volume rockers, mute switch, Power button, rear camera and Lightning connector. However, the leaked part is a bit different from the iPad Pro case that appeared on the Net several weeks ago.
