It Is Now Impossible to Downgrade to iOS 7.1.2
Earlier this week, Apple released iOS 8.0.1 and iOS 8.0.2, which contained a number of important fixes for Phone, Keyboard, Safari, Sharing, SMS/MMS messages, Photo Library and VPN. After seeding the new iOS 8 version to customers worldwide, the guys from Cupertino finally stopped signing iOS 7.1.2 firmware version. This means that all those people who migrated to iOS 8 or later no longer can downgrade.

Apple Releases iOS 8.0.2 With Important Fixes
Apple on Thursday released iOS 8.0.2, which contains fixes for the bugs found in iOS 8.0.1 that disabled cellular service and Touch ID fingerprint sensors on the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus models. Apart from these improvements, the update contains those fixes that were originally included to iOS 8.0.1, namely, fixes for Phone, Keyboard, Safari, Sharing, SMS/MMS messages, Photo Library and VPN on the iPhones and iPads.

Apple Releases iOS 8.0.1, Pulls It Back and Announces iOS 8.0.2 Release
Apple on Wednesday released iOS 8.0.1 to users worldwide, but then pulled the update back as it contained a wide number of bugs affecting cellular service and Touch ID fingerprint sensors on many iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus units. Within few hours after the unpleasant incident, the guys from Cupertino released a support document, where told that the next update, which is iOS 8.0.2, is currently in the works and that it will be released as soon as possible. Apart from that, Apple gave detailed instructions as to how to reinstall iOS 8 via iTunes. I believe these instructions will be helpful for those who installed yesterday's glitchy firmware version.
iOS 8 Adoption Rate Reaches 46% Week After Release
It has been nearly a week since Apple released its iOS 8 to users worldwide. Six days after the release, the latest version of Apple's mobile operating system is installed on 46% of all the iOS devices connected to the App Store. Well, at least this is what the guys from Cupertino say.
Siri Now Recognizes Music Using Shazam
You have probably heard the rumor, according to which Siri was supposed to “learn” to identify music tracks using Shazam functionality. Well, looks like the guys from Cupertino indeed integrated such a useful feature into their virtual assistant and it is now available for all the iOS 8 users.

Apple Officially Releases iOS 8 to Users Worldwide
Apple on Wednesday released iOS 8 to users worldwide. As it was expected, the new mobile operating system brings lots of improvements and bug fixes. Apart from that, it is far more secured and efficient and can boast lots of new features. The most noticeable among them are the widely-rumored Health app, QuickType, the support of third-party keyboards, updated Mail, Photos, Camera and Safari and the apps like Continuity, Handoff, AirDrop, Instant Hotspot, which were previously unavailable for users.
Important Note for iOS 7 Users Ahead of iOS 8 Release
On Wednesday, September 17th Apple is expected to release iOS 8. This means that there only several hours left for those who need to restore their jailbroken iPhones to iOS 7.1.2 without losing jailbreak. After iOS 8 is released, the guys from Cupertino will no longer be signing iOS 7.1.2. In this case, if a user tries to restore the device using iTunes, he will be forced to update to iOS 8.
