Samsung to Become Apple A9 Chip Supplier, Not TSMC
According to the latest rumor published by Re/code reporters, Samsung will become Apple’s sole chip supplier. Looks like the guys from Cupertino have finally made up their mind. The decision to choose the Korean manufacturer, not Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC), is cased by the fact that Samsung uses a more advanced manufacturing technology and can produce more chips at a given time.

Apple to Sell 50 Million iPhone Units in Q1 2015 - Suppliers
According to what Apple supply chain sources say, in the upcoming March quarter, the company from Cupertino may sell as many as 50 million iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus units. If these predictions come true, Apple will set a new record as it has never ever managed to sell 50 million iPhone units outside the holiday season. In fact, in the March quarter of 2014, Apple sold 43.7 million iPhones, which is less that the suppliers predict for 2015.
Apple Remains Top Tablet Vendor, Samsung Stands in Second Place
Although Apple’s tablet sales become weaker and weaker with every new quarter, the company currently remains top tablet vendor in the world. According to the latest figures from a research firm called IDC, in the last quarter of 2014, Apple sold 21.4 million iPads and got the market share of 28.1%. Closest rivals are traditionally Samsung and Lenovo with 11.0 and 3.7 million devices sold over the last three months and market shares of 14.5% and 4.8% respectively.

Yesterday, a new report from a South Korean newspaper called Maeil Business was spotted on the Net. According to this report, Samsung will get 75% of orders for the production of the A9 chip. The same report also notes that the processor for the new iPhone and probably iPad Air and iPad mini may be manufactured at the factory in Austin, Texas.

According to what former Motorola CEO Dennis Woodside told in the recent interview, Apple's acquisition of the firm called AuthenTec, which took place in 2012, prevented Google from adding a fingerprint sensor to its Nexus 6. Yesterday, I told you about the leaked images showing something similar to the display assembly for the 12-inch MacBook Air. As it turns out, I didn't mention one conspicuous detail about the next-generation laptop. This detail is the new redesigned logo on the lid, which may lose its backlight and become a rather boring polished logo similar to the one from the iPad Air 2.

We can easily notice that the display assembly is a bit thicker than the body of the newest iPad, however, that is still thinner than a body of the existing MacBook.

Of course, it was just a watch; it couldn't boast of Bluetooth or Wi-Fi (it was 1995). However, the "Apple Watch" was very good-looking.
Apple to Release Stylus Alongside iPad Pro Launch This Year
According to the new report released by KGI analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, the guys from Cupertino are planning to equip their long-anticipated 12.9-inch iPad Pro with an optional stylus. Since the larger tablet will reportedly be targeted at enterprise customers, who use similar devices primarily for work, the addition of such a tool looks quite logical.
